Based on classical French furniture, including pieces from Marie Antoinette’s own collection, the shapes are flowing, with hand-carving and serpentine front detailing. Forming an imposing centrepiece to the collection, the bed’s distinctive headboard can be caned (as shown here) or upholstered in a range of fabrics; from simple linens to elaborately embroidered silks.
Matching Floral furniture includes a desk, chairs, a dressing table, two elegant chests of drawers and a capacious armoire. Shown here in green, the whole collection comes in a range of colours or can be hand-painted in the customer’s chosen colourway.
